none

Hi again, I thought I would take a few minutes to correct an error. I spelled the name of one of my publishers. She is Jacque Graham, not Jaque. Sorry for that!

This morning I went to church. I learned something. As Jesus healed the Caananite woman's daughter in Matthew 15, I am not to exclude any of God's children in my life. Whether sinner or saint, I am supposed to be a bleeding heart for my fellow man. I also learned just because I take it in, it does not make me unclean. What comes from my mouth makes me unclean in the eyes of God. Another thing to think about this week. Wish me luck.

The first blog

Hello! I am Suzy Koch, an aspiring writer. With the help of very knowledgeable individuals, I am starting a journey. My dream will occasionally seem out of reach. I will be scared. But, I will jump into any and all situations that will allow me to learn this amazing craft.
Thanks for your interest in my blog. I don't have much to say yet. I will, however, turn this into an outlet for my story or stories, as time goes by.
My "career" began in the summer of 2006. I had an idea and thought it should be "out there". I researched ways to publish my manuscript. The internet highlighted many avenues to becoming a published author. So, in the fall, I began the process. The result was my first book, "The Prayer Pig", published by Authorhouse in early 2008. My very close friend, and talented illustrator, Cherry Jo Long, drew the pictures to help me tell the story.
This book is available at many on-line retailers and at http://www.authorhouse.com/.
Another exciting project is close to fruition. I have been blessed to meet Vivian Zabel and Jacque Graham of 4RV Publishing, Edmond, Oklahoma. They have embraced my ideas for a series based on the changes in my 5-year-old's life, as seen through his eyes. The books, will focus on his "firsts" as every child alters his or her view of the world after these events. The first book in the series, "Being Jacob: The First Day of School" will be released this fall. This book shows the way my child dealt with his first day of school. This book is illustrated by the incredibly talented, award-winning illustrator Aidana Willowraven. I am so lucky to be associated with this artist.
I can't wait to get my copy of this book! What a special blessing to be able to do this work and, hopefully, have the opportunity to share my stories with the world.
